I seriously cannot get enough of these adorable pants! My cousin sent me a link to them and as soon as I saw those Mickey ears and on a tiger, yeah there was no turning back (haha). The fabric is also absolutely amazing and is such great quality especially for the sale price that I got them at. It is so much fun that he is just as obsessed with everything Disney like his momma. I unfortunately bought them in his current size and he has only used them about twice including this day at Seaport Village. It has been way to hot to rock them but I am hoping they will still fit him in the fall when its a bit cooler and if not I may just have to buy them again! I also got this adorable jacket which is the perfect light weight sweater for summer nights. The links for the entire outfit will be above in case any of you are interested in them!
I don't believe many people know other then family, close friends, or whoever might pay attention to some of my snapchats but I recently went back to school. I actually started going back to school when Bradley was about 4 months old but pretty much was only able to finish one semester out of the three I had registered for. With Bradley's unexpected hospital stays in July and December - February they just so happened to fall on finals week each time but I was thankfully granted exceptions and I didn't have the classes count against me. I was getting so frustrated though because I would do all this work for these classes up until the last week and then I didn't get any credit for the work I had done. So I finally took a semester off to just focus completely on Bradley and our family and wanted to mainly see where his health was going to take us. Finally I decided to take another jab at it and have been in school for this summer session. The last two weeks have been pretty intense for me because I had finals and I seriously don't think I have ever been so devoted to school. I have been at Starbucks almost every night until 12am and then got home to study more until 2am. I know many of you who are students are thinking that is no big deal and many people do it but for me it has always been difficult for me to focus on studying and to stay consistent. So doing multiple nights like that in a row and then to wake up most days at 7:30am to chase a little one was a bit tough for me! But I am happy to say I did it and passed the two classes I was taking! YAY ME! So it has been pretty exciting to be working towards a degree again.
I have also been working on other projects like my new Youtube channel which I just announced and also on building my photography business which I don't believe I ever made an official announcement about. It has been exciting and also a bit overwhelming since all of this comes after my main focus which is of course Bradley. Speaking of Bradley I haven't done an update on his health since April and I am happy to say we have stayed clear of the hospital but continue to have a frequent amount of Dr appointments. We recently had a Drs appointment where he was put back on his breathing treatment until our next appointment. He was put back on it because he continues to have stridor or irregular breathing, especially when he is playing. So the Dr is mainly seeing how his next scope will look after being on the steroids and also will kind of be a test going into fall & winter (since that is when kids with subglottic stenosis get the worst symptoms). This will help us get a better idea of what may be in his future and if we may need any surgical intervention but as always we are praying that his airway continues to grow and that God keeps continuing to bless him with good health. Other than that we are making sure to enjoy being outside and have just been having a great summer. I know that was a pretty long post but I hope you enjoyed getting a little life update on us and I hope you all have an amazing Thursday!
