Hello 2016 and farewell 2015! I originally wrote my first post of 2016 at the end of December with all the intentions of posting it on the first of January. I had written about all the trials myself and my family faced this year and ended it with looking at all the happiness, joy, miracles, blessings, and wonderful moments we witnessed. Truthfully though in the last month I have been overwhelmed with anxiety, exhaustion, and most of all lacked positivity towards the New Year. So I decided to take a step back from writing and really most of all social media until I felt the need or urge and even the availability to write again. So finally here I am and first I want to start by saying I am truly grateful for the life I live and for the amazing family and friends I get to share it with.
As most of you know in December Bradley suffered from severe croup and stridor and he had to be hospitalized on and off for 8 days. We were finally discharged with a plan to get him back up to speed. We were also referred to an ENT while we were at the hospital and saw them on and off and talked about the possibility of doing a procedure to see if anything else was causing this since it is not to common. Unfortunately since we were discharged our little guy has seen many sick days with recurring croup, stridor and on and off fevers. This has been the main cause that I have not had the energy or time to post anything and really just have been glued to the hip with my sweet boy.
As of this week things seem to just be the same with him but thankfully we are getting in to see the ENT to finally and hopefully get some answers as to what is causing this. We are praying that this will be beginning to getting him better and start to many more HEALTHIER days! We have seen some good days in between in the last month like the day pictured above where we were able to get some fresh air in our beautiful Balboa Park. I don't think I have seen him so excited to explore and just run around freely. I also can't get over how adorable he looks all bundled up (which I think he has three layers on since we were pretty worried about taking him out haha) and sometimes I wish I lived in colder weather so I could be able to dress him in real winter clothes! Well I am off to get this house in order, sometimes I think a tornado went through it (most of the time called the Bradley tornado haha). Also prayers for our little sweetie are much appreciated. Hope you all have an amazing week!
